One of these days I’ll get around to making a real post! Until then, I’ll continue sharing on Music Monday. While I’m here I will tell you that I talked to Sharman Vesecky, the woman I mentioned in a previous post. She had some helpful information to offer and could quite possibly have some records on the infamous Steinway! *excitement*
You’ve probably already seen this video because it’s gone viral over the past week but it’s too good not to share! The first time I watched it I got chills. This makes me proud to be a choir nerd!

I’ve been slacking big time people! I’m currently working on a couple of posts (an update and a family story! I am SO excited to share!) but they’re going to take a couple of days to finish. I thought, since today is a Monday that I’d at least do a “Music Monday” post to tide you over!
I found this gem of a video over break and thought it was perfect for a day like Music Monday!
Side note: I thought the time appropriate hair was a nice touch!

I owe quite a bit of my love for music to my mom, who sang to me when I was small! So today I have decided to share one of her suggestions.
Enjoy and happy Monday!

Due to a VERY busy Monday I totally forgot to make my “Music Monday” post! To make up for my forgetfulness, instead of only sharing one music related something, I’m sharing three!
1. Singing is healthy! (See photo) I believe strongly in the first benefit listed. On a particularly rough day, belting out one of my favorite songs can lift my spirits!
2.An interesting fact: On this day in 1888, The First (known) recording of classical music was made (Handel’s Israel in Egypt on wax cylinder)
3. Finally something musical and slightly unconventional! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r-uEbJOrUYY
Have a wonderful day everyone!
